Dr. Eric Knochenhauer is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology along with Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama in June 1996 and worked as an Assistant Professor there until May 2001.
In addition to being in private practice at Everleap Fertility in Staten Island, Dr. Knochenhauer is the Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, New York.
Dr. Knochenhauer completed Medical School at Albany Medical College and his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical Center Hospital, Albany, New York. Additionally, he received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. He has received numerous research awards and has extensive publications, abstracts, chapters and reviews.
