In 1987, Dr. Schmidt established Ohio Reproductive Medicine, which is now part of Everleap Fertility. As a founding physician of ORM, Dr. Schmidt has played a key role in shaping fertility care throughout the region.
He earned both his medical degree and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Missouri. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at The Ohio State University Hospitals.
Dr. Schmidt specializes in all aspects of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Accomplishments and awards
- Founder of Ohio Reproductive Medicine (now part of Everleap Fertility) and a longstanding leader in the Midwest fertility community.
- Board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility
- Over 35 years of clinical experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility
- Serves as Division Director of REI at Riverside Methodist Hospital
- Serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University
- Recognized in Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in Emerging Leaders in America
