Chelsea Manning

Chelsea Taylor Manning, MD is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon who specializes in fertility-focused surgery for conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine anomalies, and cesarean scar defects (isthmoceles). She is passionate about helping patients achieve their family-building goals while providing compassionate, individualized care that prioritizes both reproductive health and quality of life.

Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Manning earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience cum laude from the University of Vermont before attending the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, where she served as Surgical Education Chief Resident. She then went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Complex Benign Gynecology at Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Manning is committed to advancing women's health through research, education, and innovation. She has presented nationally at the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS) on topics including endometriosis, fertility-preserving surgery, gynecologic surgical disparities, surgical education, and reproductive outcomes following isthmocele repair. Her work reflects her dedication to improving both patient outcomes and the future of gynecologic care.

As the first person in her family to attend college and become a physician, Dr. Manning understands the value of perseverance, trust, and strong patient relationships. She strives to ensure every patient feels heard, informed, and empowered throughout their care journey.

Outside of work, Dr. Manning enjoys trail running and hiking with her husband, young daughter, and their dog. She also loves gathering family and friends around the table for big Italian meals.
