Dr. Marie Werner is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and a High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director. She completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at RMANJ [now Everleap Fertility] in the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson fellowship program, where she had the privilege of training in clinical medicine, molecular genetics and embryology. Dr. Werner completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Medical Center where she served as the administrative chief resident. She obtained her B.S from Boston College in 2004 and her M.D. from New Jersey Medical School in 2008.

Dr. Werner has led two large randomized control trials investigating the optimal media formulation for embryo culture and the use of next-generation sequencing for pre-implantation genetic screening of embryos. She continues to be involved in research and is interested in embryo physiology, culture and investigating techniques to determine the pre-conception reproductive competence of embryos.

Dr. Werner's areas of expertise and interest include embryo physiology, culture, and investigating techniques to determine the pre-conception reproductive competence of embryos.  She believes that the heart of reproductive medicine lies in the embryology laboratory and is proud to be part of Everleap Fertility’s center for excellence.
