Rachel Martel

Rachel Martel, MD will join the Jefferson-RMA (now Everleap Fertility) Fellowship in July 2025. Rachel is thrilled to be returning to her home state of New Jersey. She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and in Community Health and was inducted into the Phi Beta Keppa honor society. She then earned her medical degree from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine on a full cost of attendance scholarship as a Silverstein Scholar.

While at NYU, Rachel was awarded the Maurice Freiman Memorial Award for exemplary performance in the clinical clerkships. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California Los Angeles where she received the award for outstanding performance in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. As an undergraduate, medical student, and resident Rachel authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Fertility and Sterility, Journal of Assisted Reproductive and Genetics, and Human Reproduction.

She also presented her work at numerous meetings, including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Her research has focused on usable embryo rates in patients who use PGT-M, fertility preservation outcomes in patients with Turner Syndrome, and the impact of endometrial thickness on birth outcomes. She is honored to begin her REI fellowship training at Jefferson-RMA (now Everleap Fertility).
